Learning Surat Al Imran

Purpose of The Class

To provide a step by step learning of surat Al Imran (3).

Abū Umāma said he heard God’s messenger say, “Recite the Qur’ān, for on the day of resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two shining ones, Baqara and sūra Āl Imrān (Qur’ān, 2 and 3). for on the day of resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks* pleading for those who recite them. Recite sūra al-Baqara, for using it produces blessing and abandoning it produces regret, and the slothful are unable to recite it.” *The alternative may indicate that the transmitter was not sure which word was used, “clouds” or "shades”. Muslim transmitted it. 

Structure

Reciting and correcting Surat Al Imran one or two verses at the time, together with simple understanding of the meanings, so by hearing and repeating them, the flow gets better and you may end up memorizing them, or all the sura. 

Applicants

Must be able to read Arabic and recite Quran with any flow.

By joining this class you are required to attend lessons, take notes on your Mus'haf, practice the verses, and listen to them.

Material

Mus'haf, a pencil, a way to take notes and a way to hear the sura from a reciter while learning it.

How learning is conducted

Virtual Classroom on Zoom, Google account, and WhatsApp number are needed.

The number of students in the classroom will be limited.

Weekly hours: 45 minutes, Every Tuesday 9.30 to 10.15 AM UK
