Purpose of The Class
To encourage seeking knowledge through reading, explaining and taking notes on books that were recommended by scholars of Sunnah. It has been a tradition for the student of knowledge to seek Halaqat/Classes to hear how a scholar read books of knowledge to their own teachers and what reflections, lessons and beneficial insights they can take away.
Structure
Give An introduction about the book, first book selected is "The Ailment and The Cure" which is translated from " الدَّاء و الدَّواء", and about the who composed the book.
Read, explain take notes
sometimes compare between the Arabic, and the English translation, to see if something more could be learned.
Review and ask questions
Each student will be provided a digital copy of the book in sha Allah
How learning is conducted
Virtual Classroom on Zoom, and WhatsApp number are needed for group for notifications.
The number of students in the classroom will be limited.
Duration of the Program: Ongoing
Weekly hours: 40 minutes starting at 6.20 AM UK, Tuesdays
